The job

To support our continued growth, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to build the German and Swiss markets.

Your main responsibilities

  • Build the Eilersen brand with manufacturers, engineering design specialists and process equipment builders in Germany and Switzerland in accordance with our strategy

  • Develop these markets with a special focus on the pharma and food segment

  • Develop a deep understanding of how our products create value for our customers

  • Provide technical advice to customers

  • Work with manufactures to ensure Eilersen is nominated as the preferred supplier

  • Work closely with our engineers to define the optimal solution

  • Further build sales in the region on the basis of our existing customer base

Your background

  • The ideal candidate has 5-10 years’ experience in selling equipment or technical products to the pharmaceutical or biotech industries (manufacturers and system integrators). If you have experience in the food processing industry this will be a further advantage

  • You have a strong network within the pharma and food segments in the southern part of Germany and Switzerland

  • You have a strong technical understanding and a genuine desire to resolve technical problems

  • You have documented success in building markets

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, you like to work independently with a small and dedicated team that can act fast

  • A demonstrated record in selling premium products

  • A thorough understanding of value selling and challenger sales

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills

  • Fair command of English to communicate with the head office and our engineers
