Product Manager - Calibration Solutions

Eilersen is a Danish family-owned company and one of the leading manufacturers of digital load cells globally, offering a unique set of products based on its patented technology. The company is targeting a wide range of high-end customer applications within the pharmaceutical, biochemical and food processing industries and has supplied solutions to some of the largest industrial companies worldwide.

The job

Eilersen has over the last years developed a new “best in class” calibration product line with an expected market launch during Spring 2023. The product is already tested at multiple customers and have realized significant savings in customer’s environmental and financial costs. Based on the initial results, the new calibration product line will increase production efficiency and allow customers a more flexible and environmental-safe way of calibrating their production equipment.

To support the new product line, we are looking for a product manager who can support the commercial launch and ensure the necessary technical support to the sales team and initial customers.

Initially the product will be promoted to pharmaceutical companies in Europe and US but the product line is expected to be sold globally across multiple industries.

The product manager will work closely with the CEO of the company and the existing product management team to build a strong technical foundation for the commercialization of the new product line.

Your main responsibilities:

Establish technical product documentation to support market launch
Plan and execute the market launch to pharmaceutical companies in Europe and the US
Build roadmap for product line in collaboration with R&D and Sales
Support initial customers during implementation and help troubleshoot
Help existing customers optimize the application of the calibration solution
Continuously strengthen product maturity to ensure customer value
Provide technical support to the sales team and help implement commercial plan
Support development of marketing material such as “use cases” / “customer stories”, ROI calculations, etc.
Help establish Eilersen as the preferred supplier of calibration solutions within the pharmaceutical and food industries

Your background:

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years’ experience in a product management role for equipment or technical products sold to the pharmaceutical, biotech or food industries
Strong technical understanding and a genuine desire to resolve technical problems
Relevant educational background could be Mechanical Engineer or Bachelor of Technology Management and Engineering (in Danish: maskin-ingeniør / maskinmester) or similar background
An entrepreneurial mindset, you like to work independently with a small and dedicated team that can act fast
Working proficiency in English
