The job

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Product Manager (PM) for the Eilersen Electric weighing systems. In this new role the PM, who will be part of the existing sales team (6 persons) in Denmark, shall support the team with application/technical knowledge. The PM will interact closely with both customers, internal sales team, product development and technical support, to ensure technical knowledge and experiences from customer installations is captured continuously. The PM will have a key role in building a product management system and help provide input to both commercial and product development strategies.

We are looking for a person with an entrepreneur mindset, with a interest in structure and organize the product-marketing, application knowledge and understand how to convey the internal knowledge and experience to our customers.

The PM will be actively involved in specific product campaigns in close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.

Your main responsibilities:

Develop product management structure to capture application and customer knowledge
Provide technical insight and learnings from customers to product development and help define product roadmap to address any technical issues
Provide market insights on key differentiators and messages to internal sales and marketing teams to improve go-to-market strategies
Support marketing function with application and customer knowledge to developed new marketing content (e.g. case stories, product comparisons, etc.)
Identify key customer applications for current product portfolio and help launch new commercial initiatives targeting the specific market segments
Develop a deep understanding of how our products create value for our customers
Provide technical advice and support to external distributors and end-customers
Work closely with our engineers in product development to optimize current product portfolio

Your background:

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years’ experience in product management within mechanical or electrical equipment for the process industry, preferably within the pharma and food industry
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in product design or engineering
Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development life cycle
You have a strong technical understanding and a commercial understanding
An entrepreneurial mindset, you like to work independently with a small and dedicated team that can act fast from idea to reality
Fluent in English language, familiar with various cultures and proficiency in Danish
